Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. Her work has been in the margins of both traditional and popular music since she was a teenager, she is also involved in other genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer an Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success topping Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and finally winning a Grammy. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami came out as her third full-length album. It featured collaborations on songwriting with other artists and producers, including Cory Henry. The album came out in 2022 as a result of an appearance on Saturday Night Live appearance by the famous singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was first Spanish singer to sing on her own in the show. The Rosalia of Motomami, who took home the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami was also the first female to win one.
